The family of Mrs. Karen Harvey Knight will hold a celebration of life service for her on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Russell Baptist Church. Brother Steve Taylor will officiate the service. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Knight, age 58, of Meridian passed away on November 21, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Karen’s family says this about her: “The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Sweet Karen Knight is among Him Today. We cherish the time we had with Karen, Dominos, Supper, and Counseling sessions. God’s timing is beyond our comprehension, but thank the Father for His redemption. His ways and thoughts are the highest. This did not escape Him in the slightest. We lost a wonderful mother, an endless candy giving Nana, a serving and compassionate spouse, and the best friend without a doubt. We will miss the strength of this family. We are thankful for the best memories in the galaxy. May the Lord give us the strength, for we know that You are closer than arms-length. Thank you for the memories.”

Karen is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Dewayne Knight; children, Renee’ (Jayce) Greer, William (Dori) Knight, Rachel (Joseph) Spears, and Rebekah (Joshua) Litchfield; grandchildren, Hank and Sadie Kay Greer, Leora Ann Spears, who is due in February, and Leyton and Elise Knight; her mother, Virginia Harvey; her siblings, Donnie, Jamie, and Wyatt Harvey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Wyatt Harvey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Russell Baptist Church Ministries.
