Kate P. Ivy Services for Kate P. Ivy will be held Tuesday, October 19 at 10A.M at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverand Jimmy Harrison and Paul Raley officiating. Burrial will be in the Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Robert Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ivy, 92 of Meridian, died Sunday October 17 in Meridian. She served as the secretary/treasurer for the Ladies Auxilary Lodge #309 for 55 years. she was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church since 1952. There she served as secretary/treasurer of the Truth Seekers Sunday School class for many years. Survivors include her four granddaughters, Kathy Robinson her husband Andy,Rita Johnson, husband Tim, and Marie Eckman; one granddaughter Pam Robinson; three great-grandsons Brendan Robinson, Dylan and Kylar Dean; a very special niece Helen Jackson; a sister Mamie Ervin; special sister-in-law Tootsie Price; a special grandmother to the Price children Patti, Ricky, Penni, Randy, Ronny, Peggi and to the Russell children Bobby, Charles, Carol, and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert B. Ivy, a daughter Mary Robertson, 5 sisters and 2 brothers, her parents L.C. and Annie Kate Price. Pallbearers will be Ricky Price, Randy Price, Ronny Price, Bobby Russell, Charles Russell, Bill Barham, Steve Clark, and Terry Belvin Visitation will be Monday 4P.M. to 7P.M. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
