Graveside services for Kathy Beene will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Beene, age 73, of Meridian passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at her home.

She was a wonderful mother and loving Nannie to her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Margaret “Missy” Reeves (Charles “Joe Joe”); grandsons, Blake Sharron (Sarah), Dylan Reeves, and Chris Reeves (Katie); great grandchildren, Kyleigh and Peyton Sharron, Emily, Kayleigh, and Brylee Reeves; brother, Wallace Walker of Vaughan, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie J. Beene; companion, Larry Gordon; great-granddaughter, Ashton Reeves; parents, Floyd and Mary Walker; brother, Charles Walker; sister, Mary Alice Reese; sister-in-law, Peggy Walker; and nephew, Kevin Walker.

Pallbearers will be Blake Sharron, Dylan Reeves, Chris Reeves, and Blake Fuller.

The family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
