Katherine Louise Graham Perry Katherine Louise Graham Perry of Meridian, Mississippi, died June 2, 2013. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church. Born on June 4, 1922, to Ruth and Randolph Graham, she was a life-long member of Central United Methodist Church. She was a member of the first group of students to attend classes in Meridian from the first grade to the fourteenth, having graduated from Meridian High School and Meridian Junior College (MCC). She also graduated from Mississippi State College for Women (MUW) having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She taught English at Kate Griffin Junior High School. With her students, she published the newspaper, THE CUB. She was a member of the honorary teachers' society, Delta Kappa Gamma. She was president of the Meridian Junior Auxiliary and was selected queen of the charity ball. She was also a charter member of the Seven-Ups. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Cooper Perry Sr. Survivors include five children, Patty Narro (the late Ray Narro), Kathy Pigford (Bob Pigford), Linda Perry, Susan Hogshead (John Hogshead), and Lee Cooper Perry, Jr., eight grandchildren, Melinda Brown, Jake Narro, Jeffrey Hoffer, Perry Brubaker, Graham Martin, Dixie Tibbetts, Katie Pigford, Sarah Perry and twelve great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bob Pigford, John Hogshead, Jeffrey Hoffer, Jake Narro, Chad Tibbetts, Joey Martin, Michael Brubaker, and Steve Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Rew Covert and Sandy Sandusky. Following the funeral service, burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery.
