Memorial services for Mrs. Katherine Robinson will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00AM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Dr. Marcus Finch officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Inurnment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Katherine Wilson Robinson, 79, of Meridian, MS, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, at her home.

She was born December 5, 1946, to T.M. and Blanche Wilson. She was a devoted Christian, Wife, Mother, Friend, and Educator. She was a faithful member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, serving as Sunday School teacher for the young adult's class. Katherine shaped the lives of many children in the classroom before transitioning into an Elementary School Principal. She was the last Principal at Highland Elementary School and then continued at Parkview Elementary School until her retirement. She also taught at the Mississippi State University Meridian Branch, where she taught the Educators of today.

She is survived by her son, Jim Robinson, his dog, Colt, who became her loyal companion, sister, Carol Robbins (Lewis), sister-in-law, Dottye Robinson, numerous, nieces and nephews, and extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Jimmie Robinson, and her parents.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church.
