Katherine Knapp Walker January 30, 1926 - June 8, 2015 Katherine Knapp Walker, a dedicated nurse and native of Meridian, MS and a resident of Mobile, AL for the last 25 years, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015. She was a past member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Neal Walker; and her parents, Thomas Knapp and Eileen O'Bryan Knapp. She is survived by her two children, Eileen (Bob) Schwarz and Thomas Alan Walker (Jenna Hanson); one cousin, Fr. James O'Bryan; three granddaughters, Amy Kennemer (Will), Elise Ankerson (Tommy) and Melissa Schwarz (John Edge); and three great-grandchildren, Leigh Kennemer, William Kennemer and Henry Ankerson. We would like to thank the staff and her friends at Allen Memorial Home for the love and care they provided for Katherine the past three years. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Little Flower Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery in Meridian, MS.
