Kathy Lynn McDonald Stehle, age 80, from Meridian, MS, was sent to her eternal home on Friday, August 15, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was born in Memphis, TN, on April 13, 1945, to the late Billy and Katie McDonald.
Kathy was born and raised in Memphis, TN, where she graduated from East High School in 1963. Following graduation, she began working at Savings and Loan in downtown Memphis. She continued to work as a bank teller even into retirement.
Over the years, Kathy enjoyed camping, fishing, and hiking. She was an avid bike rider while living in Gainesville, FL. She was also in a bowling league, played golf, and loved playing bridge with her friends. She enjoyed reading biographies and books by John Grisham. Kathy is a lifelong Christian and was always active in church activities. She was a volunteer for Civitan, where she served as Treasurer.
Anyone that knew Kathy knows that she was an animal lover! She would do anything for her cats and dogs! She leaves behind her four beloved cats Bob, Bonnie, Gerald and Susie.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Katie McDonald; and brother, Randy McDonald all of Memphis, TN.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, David Stehle of Meridian, MS; Children, Chris Moody and Karen Goss (Arthur), both of Memphis, TN; Stepsons, Mike Stehle and Mark Stehle, both of Atlanta, GA ; Grandson, Dylan Goss of Memphis, TN who was the light of her life; Loving sister-in-law, Wanda McDonald of Germantown, TN; Niece, Kimberly Walters of Superior, CO; Great-niece, Ella Walters and Great- nephew, Ryder Walters, both of Colorado; Cousin, Judy Lancaster (Ernie) of Townsend, TN; and a plethora of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life honoring Kathy Lynn McDonald Stehle will be Saturday, September 6, 2025, at First Baptist Church- Meridian, MS. The Stehle Family will receive guests from at 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM followed by a service beginning 11:00 AM with Reverend Dr. Will Wall officiating. Service music will be provided by Reverend David Bishop, Mr. Barry Germany, and Mr. Clint Walker. Inurnment will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
