Katrina Compton Brown

A funeral service for Katrina Brown will be held at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 11:30 AM with Bro. Dale Moore officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Community Cemetery, 6884 Valley Road, Meridian, MS 39307.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Katrina Brown, age 68, of Meridian passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, peacefully at her home.

Katrina was a beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, daughter, and friend. Katrina was an avid gardener, lover of nature, and one of the most selfless souls. She gave without hesitation, listened without judgement, and loved without limits. She found peace amongst her beloved Ozark mountains and in quiet moments in her garden.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Grant Brown; daughter, Rae Brown; brother, Henry Compton; sisters-in-law, Christal Coker (Chris) and Faye Brown (Bruce); nephews, Jacob Compton (Alex) and Elijah Coker; nieces, Ava Coker and Ana Coker; special cousins, Lynne Compton (Robert), Dallas Jones (Katherine), Lillian, May, Christian Jones; special friends, Thyra Phillips and Renee McCollum.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Sylvia Compton; brother, Paul Compton.

Pallbearers will be Ben Evans, Lynne Compton, Robert Compton, Jacob Compton, Dallas Jones, and Buddy Pierce.
