Services for Kenneth E. Johnson will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Johnson, age 71, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his home.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of John L. Spinks Masonic Lodge, York Rite, Scottish Rite, and Hamasa Shrine.

Survivors include his son, James Johnson and wife, June of Niceville, FL; daughters, Kathy Gilmore and husband Karl of Pearl, MS, and Karen Pierce and husband, Jason of Meridian, MS; grandchildren, Amber Smith and husband, Larry, Kristin Turnage and husband, Mark, April Price, Adam Johnson, Lindsay, Cari, and Taylor Gilmore, Jake Harrison, Madalynn and Haylea Johnson, and Eryn Miller; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Johnson, Johnny Johnson, and Samuel Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Layne Johnson; son, John Johnson; parents, M.T. and Lonnie Johnson; sister, Patsy Shelton; and mother and father-in-law, A.L. and Nona Clark.

Pallbearers will be Karl Gilmore, Jason Pierce, Jake Harrison, Larry Smith, Mark Harrison, and Leon Koch.
