Kenneth W. Shadow

Graveside services for Mr. Kenneth W. Shadow will begin at 10:30 am Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. Dan Lanier officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Shadow, 76, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Kenneth loved his Savior and his church first and foremost. He was a strong Christian man and especially loved the worship ministries of Northcrest Baptist Church where he has faithfully attended for over 30 years. In his spare time Kenneth enjoyed spending time bushhogging on his tractor and being outdoors on his property. Kenneth also loved traveling on Senior Adult Mystery Trips with his friends at Northcrest. Kenneth would light up when his grandchildren, who lovingly call him papaw, would visit.

Mr. Shadow is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Mary Shadow; children Kim Shadow and Michael Shadow (Dawn). Grandchildren, Will Shadow, Macy Shadow, Samuel Shadow, and Benjamin Shadow. Siblings Linda Shadow and Don Shadow (Jean); sister-in-law, Betty Shadow as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mr. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents J.T. and Azalee Shadow; siblings, Tommy Shadow, Myrna Cook, and Jeanette Ashmore.

The family request memorials be made as donations to the Senior Adult Ministries of Northcrest Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.

Pallbearers will be James Thorne, David Singleton, Jerry Marlow, Gary Simpson, Jimmy Johnson, and Leon Holyfield. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Shadow, Wayne Raley, and John Cook.
