Kennith Henry Loeb “Ken” Winborn

Funeral services for Ken Winborn will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 11:00a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend Harvey Troutman and Dr. John Temple officiating. Burial will be at Meridian Memorial Park.

Mr. Winborn, 49, of Meridian, passed away Monday September 19, 2016, at Anderson Hospital.

Ken faithfully served his community with the Meridian Police Department for seventeen and a half years. He was the best husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He never met a stranger and never left a single person without the biggest smile on their face. He was known for his jokes, sense of humor, cooking (boy, could he cook), and love for Mississippi State football (even through the hard years). When he wasn’t working, he could be found at the deer camp with friends. Ken was a very loving and kind man who would give you the shirt off his back.

Ken is survived by his wife, Karen Winborn, of Meridian; daughter, Meagan Adams and her husband, Brett, of Madison, and sons, Dustin Winborn and Mason Winborn, both of Meridian; sister, Denise Ward, of Meridian; niece, Savannah Hutcheson, of Meridian. He also has his first grandchild due March 10, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kennith Warren Winborn and Suzette and John Ziller and grandparents, Imelda Loeb Bounds, Henry Loeb and Dorothy Williams.

Pallbearers will be Adam White, Jim Vaughn, Jason Corey, Steve Corey, Ricky Roberts, and Michael Street.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Meridian Police Department Honor Guard.
