Kenny Rogers

Funeral Services for Kenny Rogers will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Charlie Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Rogers, age 66, of Bailey, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Rogers was retired from the Army National Guard, he worked for Roger’s Services Station and Roger’s and Son Fish Farm all his life. He was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon. Kenny was a member of Bailey volunteer fire department. He was also a Mason, a member of Scottish Rite and Hamasa Shrine. Kenny enjoyed raising and selling cattle. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He is survived by his son, Wade Rogers (Tracy); daughter, Sacia Gordman (Jack); grandchildren, Amanda Rogers, Brianna Rogers, Drake Gordman, Jala Gordman, Tamara Tyree and Ashley Tyree; sister, Kay Poole (Tim); mother-in-law, Bonnie Barber; niece, Amy McMinn (Adam); great-nephew, Jacob McMinn.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Brenda Rogers; parents, Murry and Ruby Rogers; and father-in-law, Albert Barber.

Pallbearers will be Drake Gordman, Adam McMinn, Scott Murray, Nathan Barber, Clay Barber, and Bryan Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Jr. Millsaps, Verdell Luke, Stanley Lucky, and Ken Covington.
