Mr. Harper, 49, of Pachuta, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS, following complications from a stroke.
Kevin was a die-hard fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team. In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed antiquing and finding treasures of his own keeping. An avid outdoorsman, he always enjoyed fishing any chance he could; he also enjoyed spending time at the beach and especially loved collecting seashells. Kevin was a graduate of Southeast High School and went on to become a talented autobody painter. His last job was with New South Ford in Meridian.
Mr. Harper is survived by his mother, Linda Kidd (Randy); his sister, Krystal Turner; his nieces, Kylee Raye Dewitt and Darby Mae Dewitt; his grandmother, Jonie Kidd; his best friend, Keyon Burns; a host of extended family members and friends; as well as his fur babies, Muffin and Tinker Bell.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Terry Harper; grandparents Bobby Ray Kidd; Judge and Chettie Pippin; and Frank and Hazel Harper.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Barr and Keyon Burns.
The Family suggests memorials be made as donations to the Enterprise Baptist Church Building Fund, in lieu of flowers.
