Kim passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, October 30th, at her daughter's home.
Born on September 7, 1963, in Meridian, Mississippi, to Milborn Kenneth and Nell Nobles, Kim lived a life of compassion, dedication, and strength. For more than 41 years, she served others as a nurse, working at Rush, Riley, and Anderson Hospitals, finishing her career at Meridian Medical Associates. She also worked as a travel nurse and in home health, specializing in wound care. Her patients and coworkers alike knew her as someone who led with strength and compassion, cared deeply, and gave her best to everyone she encountered.
Kim loved to travel, especially taking cruises and visiting the beach. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and loving her grandchildren. Kim's sharp wit, humor, and devotion to others will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Bennie Morris Marty Hagwood, Jr.; daughter, Melissa (Randolph) Smith; stepchildren, Shea (Jeff) Swanner and Daniel (Christina) Hagwood; mother, Nell Nobles; sisters, Denita (Wendell) James and Sheila (Tom) Calandro; brothers, Ken (Gretchen) Nobles and Sammy Nobles; sisters-in-law, Missy Hagwood and Suzi Nobles; grandchildren, Kendall Bean, Gunner Smith, Bennett Smith, Michael Creighton, Ryleigh Hagwood, Brooklee Hagwood, Maddie Hagwood, Juliette Swanner, and Jaxon Hagwood; and nieces and nephews, Lauren (Ronald Paul) Robinson, Ridge Robinson, Cohen Nobles, Selah Nobles, Derrick Dyer, and Blake Dyer.
She is preceded in death by her father, Milborn Kenneth Nobles Sr., and her brother, Andrew (Andy) Howard Nobles.
Kim will be remembered as someone who took charge, cared deeply for others, gave of herself freely, and brought laughter wherever she went.
