Kitty Ruble Baugus

Funeral services for Mrs. Kitty Ruble Baugus will begin at 3:00 PM Monday, June 3, 2024 at Salem Baptist Church in Kewanee with Reverend Bob Followell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Baugus, 89, of Lauderdale, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She lived her life for her family, resulting in great love and admiration from all that knew her. She will be greatly missed. Rest now Mom, we love you.

Mrs. Kitty is survived by her children, Beverly Nowell (Charles), James Barber (Elizabeth), Michael Barber (Vicki), William Barber (Elida), Elizabeth Jenkins, Warren Baugus, Jr., Melissa Rowell (Randall), as well as a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Baugus is preceded in death by her son, Curtis “Butch” Tucker; her grandson, Charles “Ricky” Nowell; her parents Emmitt and Pearl Devine; her siblings, Floyd Devine, Lloyd Devine, and Lucille Stevenson.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Baugus’ Grandsons.

The Baugus Family suggests memorials be made as donations to Salem Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
