Funeral services for Kristi Lanterman will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremey McDonald officiating.  Private family burial will follow.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Kristi Lanterman, age 54, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Kristi was a Southeast High School Alumni as well as a Mississippi State graduate with a degree in secondary education.  She was a teacher at Southeast Lauderdale High School, where she taught history.  She was previously chosen as a STAR teacher.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years (her high school sweetheart), Terry Lanterman; daughter, Megan Minor of Meridian; son, Daniel Lanterman of Hattiesburg; sister, Kathy Dedwylder (Daryl) of Harmony, Mississippi; sister, Debbie Linton of Meridian; grandchildren, Caroline and Cason Minor; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her family of students and coworkers at SEHS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Doris Linton; maternal grandparents, B.C. and Hazel Branning; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Myrtice Linton; her sister, Gayle Thomas; and her parents-in-law, Elwood L. and Jane Lanterman.

Pall bearers will be Darrion Goudy, Chester Goudy, Charles Black, Brandon Harper, Jason Dedwylder, and Ben Dedwyler.  Her present and former students will be honorary pall bearers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.  Masks must be worn and social distancing practiced.
