Lanell Fleming

Funeral services for Mrs. Lanell Fleming will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Pine Forest Baptist Church with Bro. Andy May and Bro. Andrew Black officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Lanell Fleming, 86, of Collinsville, MS, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Lanell was a devoted wife, loving mother, and "Mamaw Nell" to her grandkids. She was a devoted and serving member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Lanell was an excellent seamstress, leaving a legacy of handmade quilts for her children and grandchildren as well as crib blankets for her great grandchildren. She was also an excellent cook, loved to experiment with recipes, and was famous for her cream cheese poundcake.

She is survived by her children; Debbie Haguewood (Ted), Henry "Chuck" Butler, Dennis Wilson, grandchildren; Erich Haguewood (Tammy), Kelly Nichols (John), Trent Butler (Lindsey), Travis Butler (Allyson), and Drew Wilson (Megan), 8 great-grandchildren, sister; Dyann Spears, and known as Aunt Nell to her numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Fleming, parents Freeman and Lucile Moffett, and brothers; Bernell, Calvin, and Jerry.

Pallbearers will be Trent Butler, Travis Butler, Drew Wilson, Tim Moffett, Randy Moffett, Joey Moffett, Wade Spears, and Wesley Spears, with the Brotherhood of Pine Forest Baptist Church serving as Honorary Pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association and/or the Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM at Pine Forest Baptist Church prior to funeral services.
