Larry Gill Brock

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Larry Gill Brock will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Rev. Marty Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 10:00 until 11:15 prior to the service at the funeral home. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Brock, age 89, of Meridian passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at The Sanctuary House of Tupelo.

Larry was born on March 16, 1939 in Warsaw, Kentucky to the late Joe and Flossie Sisson Brock. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Navy, and retired after 22 years of honorable service. Larry was a Christian and member of Long Creek Baptist Church, where he attended as long as his health permitted. On June 11, 1994, he married his sweetheart, Tiny Ann, and they enjoyed many happy years together. He enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, and being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Tiny Ann Brock; children, Dawn Shirley and Tracy Knight; grandchildren, Cody Shirley (Kennedy) and Dylan Shirley (Shaina); 5 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Yeakle; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, LeAnne Green; step-daughter, DeAnn Wood; son-in-law, Jeff Shirley; and two siblings, Harland Brock and Linda Jones.

Pallbearers will be Cody Shirley, Dylan Shirley, Roy Gentry, Tyler Griffin, and Jimmy Stockton.
