Larry Wayne Culpepper Services for Larry Wayne Culpepper will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Reid Whittington and Reverend John David Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Culpepper, 71, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at Andersons Regional Medical Center. Wayne was born in Enterprise, Mississippi on December 11, 1939. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was devoted to his family and many friends and was an avid Ole Miss fan. Wayne was an active member of Prospect Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder. He recently retired from Southern Pipe and Supply after fifty years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Williams Culpepper, father Larry O. Culpepper and step-mother Myrtle Grafton Culpepper. Survivors include his wife of forty-nine years Jackie Skipper Culpepper of Meridian, son David Wayne Culpepper and wife Kim of Meridian, grandsons Brooks and Dylan Culpepper of Meridian, sister Janet Culpepper Gillespie of Vicksburg, niece Gina Channel and family of Vicksburg, and nephew John David Harrison and family of Anderson, AL. Pallbearers will be Dennis Manley, Danny Kerley, T.C. Glover, Ed Johnson, Joe Burt, Randy Skipper, Keith Lee, and Mike Channell. The family request memorials be made to Prospect Presbyterian Church, 7876 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian, MS 39305 or to Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
