Larry W. Dennis

Funeral services for Larry W.  Dennis will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend John Willis officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Larry was born September 27, 1947, in Alexander City, Alabama, and resided in Meridian for the past 36 years.  He helped build and run a successful business, Eastgate Tire & Service Center, with his wife and son for over 25 years, where he enjoyed building relationships with many of his customers.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his daughter, Marcie Dennis (Lillian); son, Matthew Dennis (Suzanne); granddaughter, Isabella; sister, Dorothy Turner; brother, Lloyd Dennis; and many other in-laws, nieces, nephews and family members.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Sharon; son, Mark Dennis; parents, Jocelyn Dennis Carter and Sydney Dennis; two sisters; and one brother.
