Larry Rainey

Graveside services for Mr. Larry Rainey will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Magnolia Cemetery with Dr. John Temple officicating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rainey, 75, of Marion, MS passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Jeff Anderson Regional Hospital.

Mr. Rainey was a devoted husband and papaw and was also a retired electrician who enjoyed wildlife, birdwatching and growing his own gardens.

Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years Diana Rainey; children, Kim Barrett (Steve) and Lori Beard (Billy); grandchildren, Hailey Curtsinger(Adam), Katie Barrett, Nathan Barrett, Payton Beard, Cade Beard, and Cole Beard. Mr. Rainey is also survived by his sister Cheryl Stephens (Dudley), his mother, Bessie Rainey, aunt, Clarice Mooney, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ed Rainey and one brother, Lonnie Rainey.

The family request memorial contributions be made to College Park United Methodist Church of Meridian in lieu of flowers.
