Laura Christina "Christy"Brashier Dorman Services for Laura Christina "Christy" Brashier Dorman will be held Friday March 11, 2011 at 1:00p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Davis officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Dorman, 34, of Meridian, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 in Meridian. She was formerly employed with Turner Johnson Dodge. Mrs. Brashier was paralyzed in an automobile accident in 2007. Above all, she will be remembered as a devoted mother and was a friend to all. Survivors include her daughter, Madye Dorman of Meridian; son, Christian Dorman of Meridian; mother, Kim Covington of Meridian; father, James Brashier of Meridian; step-mother, Barbara Polk of Meridian; sisters, Jessie Brashier and Ashton Brashier of Meridian; paternal grandmother, Eva Brashier Pace of Meridian; aunt, Paula Diane Hawkins; uncle, Bill Covington; cousins, Nikki Omell, Melodie Bergin, Thomas Bergin, Sherry Miller, Samuel Knight; special friends, Theresa Burnelle and Tommy Threatt. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Diane and Billy Ray Covington; maternal great-grandparents, Morrise and Allie Covington; paternal Grandfather, John W. Brashier, Jr.; paternal great-grandparents, John W. Brashier, Sr. and Christine Brashier; aunt, Laura Covington; uncles, Johnny Brashier and Mikel Brashier.
