Laura Hill Slattery A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015, for Laura Hill Slattery, from 5:00p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Slattery, age 46, of Meridian passed away quietly at her home on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Laura loved to write poetry and had received several awards. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and was like a mother to many more. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Joiner and Hellen Hill; ex-husband, Donald Slattery and father of daughters Cierra Slattery, Marri Slattery and Christina Slattery; daughter, Brandi Hamrick; and boyfriend of fourteen years, Carey Hamrick; sisters, Donna Kent and Vivian Beaudry; brothers, David Hill, William Deal and Kenneth Deal; ten grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
