Lavelle "Tinker" Frazier

Funeral services for Brother Lavelle "Tinker" Frazier will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Collinsville with Brother Andy May and Brother Wayne Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Lavelle "Tinker" Frazier, age 85, of Bailey went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Frazier was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as a sheet metal fabricator at Heblon Heating and Air. Lovingly called "Tinker," Mr. Frazier loved the Lord and was an ordained minister. He was a long time member of Pine Forest Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school and lead music. He served as the chaplain at The International Singing Brakeman Association, was known as the "popcorn man" at vacation Bible school, and loved children's ministry. In his spare time, Tinker enjoyed hunting and fishing, singing and playing guitar, and spending time with his family. A devoted family man, Mr. Frazier dearly loved his family and church family and spent fifty-six wonderful years married to the love of his life, Shirley Malone Frazier.

Mr. Frazier is survived by his wife, Shirley Malone Frazier; his children, Kelly Frazier, Anita Lundy (Danny), and Robbie Poole (John); his grandchildren, Shane Poole, Justin Poole, and Kevin Coots (Kelli); his great-granddaughters, Valerie and Bella Coots; his siblings, Della Joiner, Emearie Anderson, and Hubert Frazier; and his K-9 partner, Bo Bo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bessie Frazier; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

The deacons of Pine Forest Baptist Church will serve as pall bearers.

Memorial contributions may be shared with the Pine Forest Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, January 8 prior to the funeral service at the church.
