Lavern Waddell

Funeral services for Lavern Waddell will be held Monday, January 18, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at College Park Methodist Church, with Brother Kenneth Owen officiating.  Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Waddell, 81, of Meridian, passed away January 15, at Anderson Hospital.

Lavern loved hunting and fishing, and watching Meridian Wildcats football.  He was a loving family man who always put his family first.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Peggy King Waddell; his children, David Waddell and his wife, Donna, Ricky Waddell and his wife, Rhonda, Terry Waddell and his wife, Kim, and Lisa Waddell Noland and her husband, Bill; grandchildren, Paul Waddell, Amanda Villasana, Tristan Waddell, Matthew Noland, Toby Waddell, Amberly Noland, Joshua Waddell, and Jared Waddell; great-grandchildren, Marshall Boles, Anthony Pena, Caitlyn Waddell, Joshua Villasana, Zack Waddell, and Jase Villasana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Inez Waddell; and brothers, Hubert Waddell and Clark Waddell.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
