Services for Layne Clark Johnson will be held Friday, July 19, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donald Gentry officiating. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Johnson, age 70, of Meridian, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was retired from Central Heat & Air Conditioning. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Ken Johnson of Meridian; daughters, Kathy Gilmore and husband, Karl or Pearl, MS, and Karen Pierce and husband, Jason of Meridian; son, James Johnson and wife, June of Niceville, FL; eleven grandchildren, Kristen Turnage and husband, Mark, April Price, Adam Johnson, Amber Smith and husband, Larry, Lindsay Gilmore, Cari Gilmore, Taylor Gilmore, Jake Harrison, Eryn Miller, Madalynn Johnson, and Haylea Johnson; five great-grandchildren, Jerry, Randall, and Anthony Price, Kodey Smith, and Savannah Turnage; sisters, Jessie Wise, Glenda Ashlock, and Betty Holley; and brother, Ross Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.L. and Nona Clark; in-laws, M.T. and Lonnie Johnson; son, John P. Johnson; sister, Marie Pavy; and brother, Billy Wayne Clark. Pallbearers will be Jason Pierce, Jake Harrison, Karl Gilmore, Dan Brown, Clement White, Larry Smith, Leon Koch, and Mark Harrison. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
