L.C. Skipper, Jr.

A graveside service for L.C. Skipper, Jr. will be held Thursday, September 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest lawn Memory Gardens, with Reverend Chris Gully officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A loving husband and devoted father, Mr. Skipper passed away Sunday September 9, 2018 at the age of 92 in Columbia, SC, where he resided the last 16 years.

Born in Kemper County to the late Laurence Curtis and Sally (née Slaughter) Skipper, Mr. Skipper graduated from Lynville High school in 1944. After serving on the USS Lumen during World War II, he was employed as a business office manager in the automotive business . He was a faithful member of Shriners International.
