Services for Leathia Ann Allen will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Temple officiating, burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Allen (79) of Meridian passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Anderson Regional Hospital. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Ann was born October 23, 1938, in Meadville, MS, and was a graduate of Meadville High School and School of Cosmetology. She was a homemaker, enjoyed decorating her surroundings and socializing with her many friends. Ann will be remembered for her strong faith in Jesus Christ and her love for family and church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Wade Allen of Meridian; son, Richard Doyle Allen of Meridian; granddaughter, Leslie Allen More (Jesse); grandson, Clint Allen; great-grandchildren, Clay and Carley More and Bentley and Braxton Allen of Aliceville, AL; sisters, Hilda Graves of Vidalia, LA and Willie Mae Smith of Natchez, MS.

Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her son, Donald Wade Allen; father, William Antley; mother, Lula Jones Antley; sister, Lucille Strahan; brother, David Antley and daughter-in-law, Susan Allen.

Pallbearers will be Johney Bracato, Mark Sanders, Devlyn Vick, Ray Eldridge, Billy Allen, and Jesse More.

The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. Halbrook and Dr. Rahat for their professional and compassionate care of Mrs. Allen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
