Roy Dempsey Memorial service for Roy Dempsey will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dempsey, 50, of Meridian passed away on December 7, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Dempsey was born and raised in Aston, Pennsylvania. After leaving Penn State, he served for four years in the Marines. He worked for Sunoco for twenty-seven years as a pipefitter and operator. He was currently working with Mississippi Power Company as a CBM Specialist. Before moving to Mississippi, he was involved with the Aston Valley Baseball League as a coach and he served as President. Survivors include his wife of twenty-two years, Mary Dempsey; son, Michael Dempsey and his mother, Agnes Sands. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
