Funeral services for Annie Ethridge will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:30 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Marcus Finch and Bro. Jack Kern officiating. Burial will be at Mount Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Ms. Annie Ethridge, age 78, of Meridian passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
Annie was a faithful member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She enjoyed bible studies with her church group, Young at Hearts. She loved the outdoors, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Beverly Haskins (Michael), John Ethridge, Jr. (Brenda), Amanda Pittman (Charles) and Sheila Carpenter (Stephen); grandchildren, John Ethridge III, Tommy Ethridge, Sierra Haskins, Anthony Chase Haskins, Dustin Graham (Megan), Billy Joe Watkins(LeAnn), Tonya Orr, and Lacey Pittman; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Taylor, Megan, and Ember; sisters, Louise Harper, Marie Harper, Jean Harbour, Molly Shelton, and Kaye Boles; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ethridge, Sr.; parents, Lonnie and Bessie Pierce; siblings, Mildred White, Robert Pierce, Dickey Pierce, Roy and Nancy Pierce.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Michael Yancey, Buddy Harper, Purvis Shelton, Scott Ethridge, Jeremy Harper and Benny White.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Shelton and Terry Lanterman.
