Lila Louise Thomas Graveside services for Lila Louise Thomas will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with The Reverend Francis Cosgrove officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Miss Thomas, 81, died Monday, December 12, 2011, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Meridian and a graduate of Meridian High School. She was very active in the Art Community and had worked part time at The Meridian Museum of Art and she also served as a devoted volunteer. Her special love was photography and she had won many awards in the specialty. Survivors include her niece Rita Mitchell Williamson of Atlanta, Georgia; her nephew Ronald E. Mitchell, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and four great-nephews and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by her parents Mike and Carrie Thomas; her sister Cornelia T. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the graveside service at Magnolia Cemetery.
