Services for Lillian M. Carpenter will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Causeyville Baptist Church, with Brother Doug Stokes and Brother Ron Mercer officiating. Burial will be in the Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs Carpenter, age 86, of Meridian, died Sunday, September 9, 2012 at her home. Survivors include her son, Elton C. Carpenter of Austin, TX; daughter, Judy Pearson and husband, Robert of Meridian; grandchildren, Angela Snellenberger of Monroe, LA, Jon Carpenter and wife, Amy of Atoka, TN; Sarah D. Carpenter of Austin, TX; Amy Newell and husband, Daniel of Meridian, and Will Pearson and wife, Brittany of Meridian; great-grandchildren, Blake Emory, Chase Rogers, Caroline Rogers, Justin Carpenter, Casey Carpenter, Gracie Newell, Libby Newell, and Cooper Pearson; great-great grandchild, Teaguen Emory; special cousin and friend, Mattie Downey; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Carpenter; parents, Cameron and Beatrice Molpus; and sisters, Inelle Simmons and Louise Stearns. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Pallbearers will be Algie Davis, Cliff Clayton, Larry Culpepper, Joe Fleming, David Morris, Charles Downey, and Jimmy Irby. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
