Lindsay W. Mundy Services for Lindsay W. Mundy will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Lewis May and Reverend Odell Powell officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Mundy, 85, of Meridian died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad and retired after forty three years. Mr. Mundy was a member of the Meridian Masonic Lodge #308, York Rite Bodies, 33rd Degree Scottish Rite and Hamasa Shrine. Survivors include his wife Mary Saunders Mundy of Meridian; daughters Pamela M. Harper of Ethelsville, Alabama and Jeanne Mundy of Tunica, Mississippi; son Lindsay W. Mundy, Jr. and his wife Rita of Byhalia, Mississippi; grandchildren Charles Harper, III and his wife Angie, Sean Harper, Broque Lingerfelt and his wife Gwen, Lindsay Conrad Lingerfelt, Jason Shelton, Jeremy Shelton and his wife Christy, L.W. (Trey) Mundy, III, Stephanie Brackin and her husband Joey, Charity Jemison and her husband Keith, Christina Mundy, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sister Evelyn Somma of Melbourne, Florida, Margaret Gowen and her husband Clinton of Newport News, Virginia, Millicent Gardner of Charlottesville, Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Peggy Mundy Shelton. Pallbearers will be Mr. Mundy's grandsons.
