Lisa Luelnor Eggleston

Memorial services for Mrs. Lisa Luelnor Greenlee Eggleston will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Shelton officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Lisa Eggleston, 65, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in her home after a 7 year battle with many forms of cancer.

Lisa was born August 23, 1958 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS to Mary Blanche Boswell Greenlee and the late Hugh William (Bill) Greenlee.

Lisa graduated from Southeast Lauderdale High School class of 1976. Following graduation, she worked for Rush Memorial Hospital for the next 42 years.

Lisa remarried Bill Eggleston, the love of her life on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She was reminded of what true unconditional love is by the way Bill cared for her and remained by her side when she needed his support the most. A very good reminder to all of us, love is not shown just by your words but by actions.

Lisa was a faithful member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Toomsuba, MS. She was a true blessing to so many and will be missed.

Lisa is survived by her husband, William John (Bill) Eggleston of Toomsuba, MS, a daughter Ashley (Eric) Eggleston of Gainsville, FL, a granddaughter Annalisa Calloway Byrd of Gainsville, FL, mother Mary Blanche Greenlee of Toomsuba, MS, sister Sonya (Bobby) Williams of Arlington, TX, brother Charles William (Chuck) Greenlee of Toomsuba, MS, brother-in-law David (Debbie) Eggleston of Meridian, MS, an uncle Charles "Charlie" Boswell of Meridian, MS, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and so many friends.

In addition to her daughter, Heather Leighanne Eggleston, she is predeceased by her father, Hugh William "Bill" Greenlee, brother Hugh William "Lil Billy" Greenlee Jr. Johnny Steve Greenlee and Richard Earl "Rickey" Greenlee, father-in-law William Clyde Eggleston, mother-in-law Emmaleith Yvonne Eggleston.
