Funeral services for Lloyd King will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Owens officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. King, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 12, 2016 at his beloved church, College Park United Methodist. He was a long standing member and currently served as Chairman of the Trustees. He was a Master Mason for 50+ years and a loyal member and secretary of Oakland Heights Lodge #577.

Lloyd was a U.S. Air Force Veteran that proudly served during the Korean War. He was an avid tennis player and officiated football for public schools in the Lauderdale County District for many years.

Survivors include his children, Lynda King-Nichols of Portland, OR, Debra King of Meridian, MS, Alan King of Houston, TX, and Ramona King of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Derek, Dennis, Jason, and Mary Jo; great-grandchildren, Mia and Bradley; sisters, Evelyn King of Stansbury Park, UT, Nell Mercier of Bogue Chitto, MS, and Brenda King of Stansbury Park, UT.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda King; son, Ray King; and brother, James King.

Masons of the Oakland Heights Lodge #577 will serve as pallbearers.
