Lois Wedgeworth Allen Services for Lois Wedgeworth Allen will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Buford Usry and Reverend Frank Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Allen, 79, of Meridian died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at her residence. Survivors include her son Travis Allen and his wife Jerri ; daughter Sharon Carmichael and her husband Tommy and daughter Vickie Breazeale; grandchildren Rusty Allen, Darron Scarbrough,and Denise Pope and her husband Gerald. Great grandchildren Creighton Allen, Owen Allen, Brooklyn Pope, Tori Pope, Kemmie Welborn, Chelsea Scarbrough, Tessa Scarbrough and Zachry Scarbrough . Special friend and care giver Fran Weeks, special niece and caregiver Faith Kotch, all the staff of Hometown Hospice, her nurse Jean Hassell, CNA Stacy Shirley, special nephew Robert Earl Green. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Allen, a son Rusty Allen, and her parents Howell and Annie Wedgeworth. Pallbearers will be Sonny Green, Harold Green, Gerald Pope, Wayne Guy, James Love and Jerry McCullum.
