Lora Frazier

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Lora Frazier will begin at 10:30 on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Bro. Jeff Hancock officiating. The family will receive guests from 9:30 until 10:15 prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Mississippi Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Newton at 12:00 p.m. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Frazier, age 93, of Collinsville passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Lora was born on May 8, 1932 to the late Sammy Marvin and Caleba Ruby Williams Alawine. She grew up in Neshoba County and attended Herbert Springs School. After graduating from school, she married Hubert Ray Frazier. After they married, they moved to San Marcos, Texas, but they later moved back to Mississippi after Mr. Frazier's military service. Lora worked for many years in a shirt factory, and later, she enjoyed working at Pine Forest day care. She enjoyed doing ceramics, reading, collecting bird figurines, quilting, and working in her flower garden.

Lora was a Christian and a faithful member of Crossview Church in Collinsville, where she faithfully served wherever she was needed - especially in the kitchen.

She is survived by her loving husband, Hubert Ray Frazier; daughter, Donna Breazeale (Mike); granddaughter, Beverly Johnson (Nicholas); great-grandson, Vince Morgan (and his girlfriend, McKenna Clay); honorary grandchildren, Kelsey Reed (Elijah), Mick McNeil (Haley), Hunter Huffty, Nicholes Huffty, and Tye Johnson; sister-in-law, Peggy "Janice" Alawine; and numerous other nieces and nephews, family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sammy Marvin and Caleba Ruby Williams Alawine, and four siblings, Eldred Smith, William Alawine, Max Alawine, and Charles Alawine.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Alawine, Mitch Alawine, and Billy Alawine.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Frazier be made to Crossview Church at P.O. Box 26, Collinsville, Mississippi 39325 and/or to the American Alzheimer's Association.
