Memorial Graveside services for Mrs. Lori Ann Dearing will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, April 11, 2025, at Newton County Memorial Gardens with the Reverends Dr. Rhett G. Payne, III and Chip Cowsert officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Dearing, 62, of Lauderdale, died Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.

Lori was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Meridian. She was a loving mother and caregiver to her family. She was dedicated to her Lord and devout in her faith. She cherished her time in church and in the Bible.

Lori is survived by her sons, Jerry Dearing and Houston Dearing (Jennifer); granddaughter, Charlotte Dearing; as well as a host of extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Gary Dearing; her parents, Robert Philyaw and Charlotte Voth; and her brother, David Philyaw.

The Dearing Family suggests memorials be made as donations to The Mustard Seed in Brandon, MS in lieu of floral offerings.
