Funeral services for Mr. Louis Ray Smith will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Rev. Virgil Walters and Rev. Danny Moss officiating. Burial will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Suqualena. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Louis Smith, age 91, of Collinsville passed away April 17, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Smith was a faithful servant of the Lord. He was also a Gideon. He was an active member and a deacon at Macedonia Baptist Church. Mr. Smith will be remembered as an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was employed Norfolk Southern for forty-six years.

He is survived by his children, Diane Jackson and Eddie (Brenda) Smith; grandchildren, Steve and Mark Smith; five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Lois Smith Alawine.

He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-eight year Mamie Lee Smith; daughter, Rosa Ethel Smith; son-in-law, Woodie Jackson; his parents, Calvin Ray and Rosa Troutman Smith.
