Lurey Lee Dilmore Barham Funeral services for Lurey Lee Dilmore Barham will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Chuck Meador officiating. Burial will be in Polkville United Pentecostal Church Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Barham, 71, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Barham and her husband celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on July 18, 2014. She was a graduate of Morton High School, Class of 1960 and attended Lon Morris Junior College in Jacksonville, TX. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Mrs. Barham was a longtime employee of Anderson RMC where she worked in communications. She was a charter member of the Magnolia Club and an outstanding member of O.K. (Older Kids) Coffee Club. Survivors include her husband, Otha Barham of Meridian; son, John Barham and his wife Melissa; grandsons, John Logan Barham and Jennings Lewis Barham, both of Brandon; special cousins, Mary Hamm of Lake, and Lavelle Harrell of Pelahatchie; SISTERS-in-law, Carrol Barham of Collinsville and Janet Barham of Meridian; cousins, Everene Johnson of West Monroe, LA, Earlene Gable of Start, LA, Louie Richardson of Alexander, LA; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Leona Dilmore. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church or Polkville United Pentecostal Church. Pallbearers will be Baker Hamm, Bob Perna, Lavell Harrell, Robert Gerald Lyle, Louie Richardson and Graham Bradshaw. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
