Lydia E Golden

Ms. Lydia Golden, age 78, of Christiansted, St. Croix, VI, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Bedford Care Center of Marion.

Ms. Golden worked for the USVI Department of Human Services, from which she retired.

The family would like to thank Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, Bedford Nursing Home of Marion, Mississippi, Quality Hospice Care, and Commander Christye Brown from Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Survivors include her children, Eloise (Luis) Quinones, Edwin Golden, Jr., Joan (David) Osowski; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Vicente Morales; sisters, Joan Pedersen and Eloise Burr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Selma and Marcial Morales; her daughter, Yvette Golden; her grandchildren Jamilah Golden, Eliza Benitez; and her brothers, Andrew Lang, Herman Lang, Luis Morales, Antonio Morales, Rolando Morales, and Julio Morales.
