Lynn Mitchell Crenshaw Retired Registered Nurse Services for Lynn Mitchell Crenshaw will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, with Reverend Buddy Petty officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Crenshaw, 67, of Toomsuba, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She lived in Lauderdale County her entire life. Lynn graduated from Lauderdale High School. She went to Matty Hersee School of Nursing and obtained her R.N. Degree. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Lynn was a dedicated nurse at Andersons Hospital for over 40 years. Her love for her co-workers and friends was immeasurable. Lynn's hobbies included watching her granddaughter Morgan Ratcliff barrel race and camping with her husband including numerous trips to visit her grandsons Matthew and Landon Crenshaw. Lynn was a dedicated and loving mother to Tammy for over 44 years Survivors include her husband of 32 years James Wayne Crenshaw; daughter, Tammy Ratcliff; stepson, Kerry Crenshaw; son-n-law, Todd Ratcliff; grandchildren, Morgan Lynn Ratcliff and Matthew Crenshaw; great-grandchild, Landon Crenshaw; sisters, Jan Mitchell Salkeld and Kathy Mitchell Joyner and her husband Ray; nieces and nephew, Amy Joyner, Kristin Salkeld Mercado and her husband Stephen; great nephew, Nathan Mercado; brother-n-laws, Kyron Crenshaw and his wife Brenda, Larry Crenshaw and his wife Linda; sister-n-law, Ladonna C. Smith and her husband Ron; many nieces and nephews in the Crenshaw family; special friends, Joann Bradley, Virginia Roberts Doggett and Virginia Moody; many friends and co-workers at Anderson Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blake Mitchell and Kathryn Mitchell Key; step-father, Robert "Bob" Key; grandparents, Dick and Clara Burkhalter, Harvey and Hattie Mitchell. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Brent Wheeler and the staff at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS and the Drs. and staff on 4 East at Anderson Hospital. Pallbearers will be Todd Mathis, Ron Smith, Kyron Crenshaw, Larry Crenshaw, Billy Knight,Ronald Powell and Jimmy Mitchell.
