Mae Jewel Hensley Services for Mae Jewell Hensley will be held Monday, December 12, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Hensley, 83, of Meridian died Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Bedford Care Center. She was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years Marion R. "Buster" Hensley of Meridian; her sons Dennis Ray Hensley and his wife Diana of Israel and Donald Joel Hensley of St. Louis, Missouri and grandson Matthew Hensley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Frances Covington, and her sister Rose Jackson. The family requests memorials be made to Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be Joe Chambers, Ben Rose, Phillip Price, Marvin Gibson, Everette Fox and Albert Bartlett. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.robertbarhamffh.com.
