Graveside services for Mae Jean Mabry will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Old Marion Cemetery with Dr. Scott Crenshaw officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mae Jean Mabry, age 87, of Meridian, MS passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 7, 2024, with her family by her side.

First and foremost, she loved her family, her grandkids, and neighbors. Mae Jean loved animals, working in the yard, and singing and playing the piano. Her caring personality made her a perfect fit to be a sitter for the elderly.

She is survived by her daughters; Dianne Ridout and Darlene Mabry, her grandchildren; Jennifer Ridout (Dawn), Steven Ridout (Erin), Alan Hynum (Jonah), Margie Prestage, Samantha Mabry, Brendan Mabry, and Zachary Mabry, great-grandchildren; Matthew and Isabella, sister; Patsy Rogers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louin Mabry Sr., her son, Louin "Jimmy" Mabry Jr., her parents Clifford D. and Mae E. Ward, her brother, Billy Ward, and her sister, Florita Lee.
