Funeral services for Mamie Warren will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brothers Jerry Lundy and Dale Eakes officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Collinsville.
On September 8, 2016, our precious mother shed this earthly body to walk the Heavens with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at the age of 89. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in the Martin Community, where she kept the nursery and rocked many babies, and she was privileged to rock their babies as well. She leaves behind a legacy of love, a heart for others, and a generous spirit.
Mamie is survived by her daughters, Linda (Mickey) May, Barbara (Billy) Harry, and Pam (Scott) Vance; grandchildren, Paul Lampton, Chris Lampton, Melissa McElhenney, Michelle Eakes, Jenny Pigford, John Harry, Suzie Davis-Kowahl, and Brandi Chaney; eleven great-grandchildren that were the love of her life and two great-great-granddaughters; brother, Nathan (Shelby) Boydstun; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews; a special daughter of the heart, Cathy Alexander; “son”, Benny Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her husband F.W. “Boots” Warren; parents, Samuel and Mattie Boydstun; two brothers and three sisters; a daughter of the heart, Diane Archie; and best friend, Margaret Hayes, who was Ethel to her Lucy.
Pallbearers will be Gail Harper, Steve Freeman, Frankie Hoffer, Justin Giles, Daniel Culpepper, and Chuck Mathis.
