Services for Mardell E. Harper will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 at 1:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Joyner officiating. Burial will be in Cokers Chapel Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Harper, 77, of Toomsuba, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her children, Preston L. Harper and his wife Lesa of Toomsuba, Gerald L. Harper and his wife Mary of Toomsuba, Terry L. Harper and his wife Cathi of Toomsuba, Donna H. Pennington and special friend John Bowen of Toomsuba, grandchildren, Douglas L. Harper and wife Debby, Amber L. Harper, Jordon L. Harper, Patrick O. Smith, Christopher L. Harper and wife Tammie, Casey L. Simmons and husband Sam, Dawn Reed, Mindy House, Carla Remaro, Kade Loeber, numerous great grandchildren, brothers, Mack Harper of Meridian, Leo Harper and his wife Dena of Meridian, sisters, Opal Hurt of Jackson, Ann Whitehead of Meridian, Peggy Mathis and her husband Bill of NV, Patsy Barnhurst of Meridian, Marilyn Hamby of CA, Carolyn Boykin and her husband Donnie of Meridian, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard L. Harper, grandson, Craig R. Pennington, brothers, Harold Harper, Walton Harper, sisters, Margie Moak, and Juanita Clarke. Pallbearers will be Glen Harper, Charles Harper, Gary Harper, Don Harper, Ron Harper, and Harold Harper. Visitation will be held Friday, 11-1 at the funeral home.
