Services for Margaret Dement Drinkwater will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 11:00 a. m. at First Christian Church (Disciples Of Christ) with Dr. Tom Sikes and Rev. Lea McCracken officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Drinkwater, 91, of Meridian, died, Saturday, April 13, 2013 at her home.

During her life, she had been a member of the Meridian Junior Auxiliary, First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Elizabeth Barnes Circle of the church. She was a devoted member of the church and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William Wayne Drinkwater; her three sons, William Wayne Drinkwater, Jr.(Ouida), Robert Dement Drinkwater (Pat), and John Clark Drinkwater (Patricia); and her grandchildren Jennifer Dement Drinkwater, William Dement Drinkwater, William Woods Drinkwater (Katherine), Christina Marie Drinkwater Johnson (John), and Anna Catherine Drinkwater.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Vance Dement and Sallie Elizabeth Clark Dement; her brothers John Clark Dement, Vance Dement, and James Dement; and her sisters Mary Elizabeth Dement Duvall, Sara Dement Randall, and Jeanne Dement.
