Margaret H. Sims Funeral services for Margaret H. Sims will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:00p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dewey Turnage and Reverend Chuck Overby officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Sims, age 70, of Meridian, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Sims retired from Lockhead Martin and was a member of Trinity Assembly of God. She had a heart of gold and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her children, Houston Deroyce Neal and wife, Rhonda, Felia Lynn McLelland and husband, Mike, Michelle Stewart, and Linda K. Moore and husband, Kentese; grandchildren, Ashley Neal, Justin Neal, Jessica Neal, Travis Sanders, Chase McLelland, Steven Stewart, John K. Stewart, William T. Bell, Clarissa Bell, Robert Floyd, and Brianna Floyd; 7 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 aunts; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Sims; mother, Hazel B. Charlton; father, Elmo Rigdon; brothers, Wilber Rigdon and Jerrel Rigdon. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
