Margaret McQuillan Taylor Services for Margaret McQuillan Taylor will be held on Thursday June 23, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Taylor, 90, of Meridian died Sunday, June 19, 2011 at her residence. She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mrs. Taylor was an avid bridge player and was a lover of the Arts; especially the Meridian Little Theatre and the MSU Riley Center. She spent many hours at Carol Merrill Dance Studio. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Her survivors include her daughters Becky Sims and her husband Billy Wayne, Carol Merrill and her husband Scott , a son Derrel Taylor, Jr. and his wife Debra, a brother Joseph McQuillan, five grandchildren Kristy Pope, Angie Partridge, Robert Bridges, Haley Merrill and Forrest Merrill, Jr., two great grandchildren Jacob partridge and Ava Partridge, a special niece Shelia McQuillan Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Derrel C. Taylor, Sr., a sister Mary Florence Finn, a brother John McQuillan and her parents Florence and John McQuillan. Pallbearers will be Robert Bridges, Forrest Merrill, Sean Partridge, Mathew Pope, Jimmy Matthews and John Harwell. The family request memorials be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
