There will be a private family graveside at a later date at Cokes Chapel Cemetery in Ward, Alabama, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Vaughan, age 68, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include: husband, Stanley Vaughan of Meridian, daughter Jamie P. Vaughan of Meridian, son James Vaughan II of Meridian, grandson Jas Grayson of Meridian, sister Mary Scardina and husband James of Reading, PA, and daughter-in-law Jermiline Peacock.

She was preceded in death by her son, Morris Peacock.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
